Águas Livres Aqueduct, constructed in 1748 bringing water to the metropolitan city from 20km in Olival do Santíssimo.

On a more relevant note, this supplied the water to the fountain in the square of Rua de Seculo (my site). A celebrated feature that held high importance to urban spaces, water was once a rare commodity and so highly esteemed in Lisbon.
